A legend grows and another’s on hold. We are who we thought we were – too Young; youthful mistakes with drive and score dumping drops, penalties including a pathetic taunting call and too many ruined big plays. Don’t young players get official respect in any of the leagues? Are you kidding me? Not one Viking penalty in the first half? Whose hand was in Kampman’s face on a stunt and who was dragging Collins at the point of attack at the edge where AP was cutting?
Winning the trench war the key as always! Veteran’s Wanted!
Reminding me of the 80’s... Average teams with big plays but no teeth. No pass rush, no protection, no run game with a gutsy #12; Rodgers –Dickey.
Dickey had a HOF arm, but no support. I hope Rodgers does not end up on that road. Maybe an all pro defender will see his fortitude and come to Green Bay like Reggie did after crushing Favre who kept getting up off the mat and making plays. Who might that be?
This was a fun game to watch, still too much to fix; 4.5 sacks, a MNF record – pathetic. Say no more.
PS – Favre did not look old tonight. Joe Montana did look old in KC
